Addicted to Sexting (2015)

Review by Hanna Phifer

One would imagine that a documentary about sexting would be as interesting and titillating as its subject matter. However, the documentary is unfocused and unsure of how to broach the topic of how people sexually connect in the age of social media.

Such matters as how the evolution of technology has just elevated ancient forms of communications, revenge porn, the giddy awkwardness first-time sexters feel, all are rushed in this nearly hour and a half long documentary. By the end of the film, viewers are bound to be less horny as much as they are to be more fatigued.
